It was so-so, not bad, but not great. At the time I restored it, I didn't have any pure badgers that would fit it, they were a bit smaller. Not sure of it's age. But I do like the metal ring around it.

Not easy for me - DFS on 2 passes but felt like I had to take a lot of care with my New in order to not nick myself. Still ended up with 1 weeper but I think my skin is just very uneven at the moment. Feel like it's a closer shaver than my Tech or Tv Rocket across 2 passes but I couldn't chance the 3rd/touch ups I sometimes do. Definitely easier to cause irritation. OCtober is off to a good start. Enjoiy your day gentlemen (and ladies!)
Gillette Slim 63' with Derby Premium #2 RazoRock F 400 XXL 34mm WSP Barbershop Formula T Humphreys Alcoholado Maravilla M&L Colonia De Rosas A quick early evening shave. The Misses wants to have a "Movie Night", so a shower and an easy 2 pass shave for an excellent DFS. Finally found me the Murray&Lanman Rose Cologne. Just an awesome rosey and fresh clean scent. Not to soft, or uber masculine. Perfect for a fresh early autumn night out. Have a great evening Gents....
My revised shave plan for Wednesday morning: Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra day 3 Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Fine Snake Bite AS Splash Obsession For Men EdT The weather forecast is for a warm high of 75 F so I'll break out something really chilly. Even the regular MITA soap packs a robust enough menthol kick - that citrusy, tropical scent is also such a treat, not to mention what wonderful lather and skincare it gives. I'm so happy I finally have a brand-new bottle of Snake Bite once again so I can enjoy that GIANT freeze!

SOTD 10.3.2017 Pre-shave: Worked up a good sweat mowing the lawn, walking the dogs and then a hot shower Shave cream: Barbasol Soothing Aloe Brush: VDH Badger Razor: Merkur 1904 OC Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2) Post-shave: Dickinson WH, Gillette AS Gel, Gillette Cool Wave AS Splash After getting some chores done I rewarded myself with a quick, but pleasant shave. Thanks to those in the Barbasol Brotherhood for introducing me to whipping up the canned cream into a nice, slick lather with a brush. The Soothing Aloe is one I've had for.... I don't know when I bought it, but I know it was before I started my venture into wet-shaving. It had been collecting dust in the back of the cabinet for a long time, then I read the posts in the Barbasol Brotherhood. I certainly have not given up on the soap pucks and shaving creams, but I'm keeping an open mind. Anyway, great shave! I achieved a near BBS, and I did both a face shave and a head shave. The Soothing Aloe was protective and actually felt great, and the post shave products enhanced that experience. Have a great week, everyone!
