Jeff, I think you could handle making a paste out of menthol crystals and applying them directly to your face.

I have a tub of the recent version of Orange Chill. Makes a good slick citrusy lather with a definite menthol chill

The Glacial Wintergreen soap lathered like a bone-chilling demon and its wonderful scent filled my bathroom. The matching balm and witch hazel felt so great. I couldn't resist using a little Arctique afterwards!

As you may recall, it "jumped out at me" as part of my first Sample A.S. set.

For Sunday it'll be either Black Ice or Glacial Obsidian depending on the weather.

By the way, I still have one shave left with my Gatlinburg sample, and have yet to open the Xecutive Man one.

I love Gatlinburg! For me, as soon as I sniffed the sample, I knew I wanted a full set. Wife agreed to, which is always good lol. But, they were out of the balm, so just have the soap and AS. Same thing with ExecMan, but, being the menth-head I am, I went with Eskimo Tuxedo

Talking about being a menth-head I'm going with with Black Ice-aka the "mini Obsidian!" (it's cold, but without the lethal freeze that Obsidian has!)

I keep saying that the Black Ice soap is the "mini Obsidian" but when I lathered up for my third and final pass this morning the menthol really hit me hard. In fact it started to make my eyes tear a little. The post-shave sensation from this soap is so soothing and comfortable that I easily could have avoided using any moisturizer but being a creature of habit I used it anyway. For tomorrow I think I'll use the Obsidian soap and balm!

I absolutely LOVE the scent of this soap! Rod really hit it out of the park with this one.

I've had two showers with my Sandalwood bath soap sample. Let me say right here and now that Rod's genius with scents is off-the-charts because this is the NICEST sandalwood I ever experienced. I can't believe how he does it so perfectly. Too bad that I'm low on dough because I'd buy at least a half dozen of this soap. I still have a little of the Scots Pine Sheep sample left as well as around half a Glacial Lemon Chill bar, a brand-new Glacial Lemon Chill bar, and a brand-new Glacial Spearmint bar but I've fallen in love with the Sandalwood. I also want a Sandalwood shaving soap!
