TSD 2X Iced Florida Water Soap TSD 30DC LE Brush Craftsman Razor Lucky Tiger Florida Water Have a great weekend!
Well this is one of my first “non review” Shave reports in a while, so I picked up the Lavanille, the Straight Razor and the spalted maple synthetic bush and made a solid first pass with a couple of small weepers, but no major incidences. Finished two more passes with the Slim, and capped it off with Lavanille AS. I may keep this pattern up in between pass around boxes, as the reviews have me thinking too much about each soap’s performance and losing the zen-like quality that comes from focusing only on the blade. As for Lavanille, who would believe that I’d enjoy the intermingling scents of vanilla and dirt so much?
OCtober 7th Gillette Old Type w Nacet (4) TGN Synthetic B&M Seville Thayers Stirling Barbershop Splash Got back home after a 2 hour delay at the airport. Nice, pleasant shave this morning. Went with a 4th day on the Nacet, and it is still feeling great. We are going to visit my in-laws today. 3 hour drive with my wife? Wear one of her favourite splashes? Darn Straight. Have a great day all!
Gem OCMM Gem Stainless (2) Omega Baby Pro Rubberset re-knot Iced Orange Arko Stick Superior 70 Bay Rum I have been feeling the SE love recently and today was no exception.
You have another Fan? Who is it? The two of us should start a club! Maybe we could follow you on the interwebs and Like your photos and post! You've got my curiosity up, too. Need to go revisit that other thread and see if I can figure out what you're hinting about.
Ok so maybe two fans is an overstatement. You and a morbidly curious mildly interested dude. How's that? Let me know if you have an idea what I'm up to. I will only say it turned out better than I thought. But that doesn't make it a good idea. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Nacet is a good blade that sometimes gets overlooked. How can you go wrong with a blade that cuts crocodiles though?!
SOTD October 7, 2017 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Schick Razor: Personna injector Brush: Jayaruh #142 black badger Lather: Arko Post: Witch hazel, Fine Platinum aftershave WTG, touch up Pretty nice shave with Arko. The shave stick focus continues. The lather just exploded and I kept dipping the tips to encourage hydration. Great lather in the end. Pretty smooth shave other than the point of my chin which I missed a little. But that's okay. Still looks good and feels good. Oh, and smelling good as well with Fine's Platinum. Enjoying the shave stick exploration. I can already see improvement and will have it down by the end of the month. Have a great weekend!
I figure you'll have plenty of time to get it all dialed in when you are making twenty more of them for the 30 Day Crew L.E..
