shaving scuttle choice

I want a shaving scuttle,wath is the best? Sara moss,Dyrti bird, or Schwarweisskeramik?

 

Don't forget the Georgetown scuttle!

I just ordered the Hamada color.

 

I have only tried the scuttles of schwarzweisskeramik so far and I don't have the desire to try any other scuttle

 

I like the looks of the georgetown and dirty bird.

 

I've only tried the Dirty Bird and I love it.

 

I have the Dirty Bird. It is the only one I have tried, but I hear that it is one of the only ones in which you can lather in the bowl. I enjoy it. I would recommend it to anyone as a luxury item but not a necessity.

 

No questions about it, moss scuttle or georgetown

 

I reallly like the look of the Schwarweisskeramik scuttle.

 

Seems to be a very personal decision much like every other wet shaving decision.

 

I can't say that a scuttle is the "only" thing on my list, but it is currently the most important. I have good blades, good razors, good brushes and good soaps, but I really need a solid way to keep a warm lather.

 

A sink with hot water and a Target latte bowl do it for me.

 

I use a Walmart soup mug (very shallow) in place of the latte bowl. Same idea and works great. I have a small scuttle near the bottom of the list of desired shave goodies, so that I can face lather with getting a cold brush.

 

i melt 40 bars of williams soap and use my toilet.

 

Do you use the toilet brush to build and apply the lather :happy102

i use an oversized plunger. i find i can apply all the soap to my face in one shot

 

Exactly what I use but I have a Dirty Bird brush scuttle on my holiday wishlist.

I have been wanting a scuttle for a while but since I prefer to lather on my face I don't need a large scuttle for lather. I think the Dirty Bird brush scuttle ought to work fine. Just big enough for the brush. Then I can use my sink without concern of getting water in my latte mug.

I have ordered from Julie at Dirty Bird before. I had purchased some of her pottery for my wife. She seems really nice. I am hoping my wife ordered the brush scuttle for me. Julie, if you read this forum, don't tell me if she ordered. I want it to be a surprise.
