Today I changed up my choice of razor - instead of my 1950's Super Speed I went with this buck-and-a-half Junjie DE (made in China) which I bought last year in a dollar store near my house and I transplanted the Astra blade into it. Guess what: A three pass BBS shave which was very easy and comfortable - absolutely no problems whatsoever. This Golddachs Spezial soap from Germany may be pricey (25,00$ CAD) but I think it's actually well-worth it. Does it ever smell nice, does it ever lather like crazy, and its skincare is pretty good. No menthol, but it got very chilly outside so I'm just as happy to back off from the freeze for a day. The Canadian Cedar aftershave is awesome stuff - too bad that it was discontinued some years ago.

Enjoy your shaves and have a great day!

    Razor - Edwin Jagger "Kelvin"
    Blade - Feather Hi-Stainless
Shave Brush - Satin Tip "The Purest"
    Pre-shave Oil - Lather & Wood "unscented"
Shave Soap - Catie's Bubbles "Le Piment de La Vie" *Luxury Cream Formula
Aftershave - Country Club for Men "Southern Oud"
Post-shave Balm - Retseliney Luxury Skin Care Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum
    Deodorant - Sam's Natural "Tobacco"
    Fragrance - Creed Royal Oud

The soap is such a treasure. It's the older, fluffier luxury cream formula that preceded the current one. The older, fluffier formula is the best one IMO, so I'm trying to use this stuff sparingly. And the scent is just amazing when it's been a while since the last use. Absence has made the nose on this grow fonder.
