WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Henri & Victoria Nautilus today. 20 seconds to load the Turtleship Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Bulgari Blu aftershave.

C3 with Kai Mild AC blade didn't feel like an optimum match, too much work necessary on my head shave. Some of that is the finicky nature of the Repeaters when it comes to angle, but I've had better shaves with them.

Tabactober Origin Story
Tabac was the second quality lather I discovered along my journey. Proraso Green was first, but when my wife and I were in NYC for a wedding, we stopped at Pastuers and she helped me choose Tabac after a whiff. I had heard about this classic soap from the forums, but I was afraid to buy before I smelled it. The scent instantly reminded me of my Dad who had passed away a few years earlier. He always had a mug with shaving soap in his medicine cabinet, and that whiff transported me to my childhood when I would watch him shave with what I now knew was Tabac and his Aristocrat razor. As a teen I tried his kit, but cut myself up with poor technique. I did not return to classic shaving until recently. I am now seeing the donut hole in the bottom of what will be my third jar of Tabac. I may finish it during Tabactober, and I will certainly be ordering another refill.

Easy 2 pass, WTG/ATG- XTG A cold water rinse, and more clean up than I wanted, but came out with a very good, smooth shave. I think I`m getting used to one of my favorite razors. Happy camper. God bless, Bill

I had tried the Contour II with a stainless blade and it work well enough but I thought the Treet might be a bit more effective while retaining the smooth, comfortable shave that I got with the stainles blade. I was right. Still smooth & comfortable but far more effective. Needed a bit more touch up than I like but it was so easy on my face that it was no big deal All in all, a very very nice shave that I think will get better as I get more familiar with the Contour II. Now go enjoy your day folks.
