My next Stirling shave will be Thursday morning with the Glacial Lemon Chill soap. I'll finish with the matching balm and witch hazel.
Sorry if this has been discussed in the previous 166 pages (!), but any love for Mentha here? The scent description sounds right up my alley, but it doesn't look like they make it in a shave soap. I've been using Stirling soaps exclusively for over three months now, and so glad I did! Currently working on Electric Sheep, which I find excellent!
Yes, pretty strong cologne scent based on Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce. According to fragrantica.com, top notes are petitgrain, cardamom, lemon, orange and fire; middle notes are jasmine, rosemary, rose, and lily-of-the-valley; base notes are vetiver, musk, oakmoss, and Brazilian rosewood. Don't know if that helps any!

Has anyone heard any word about colognes? Was hoping for an Executive Man cologne for this summer but the year is almost over and still no mention of colognes.
Don't know as I've never smelled the original Fierce. I will say another member of Dirty South Shavers said it was spot on. He said his wife smelled it and looked up and gleefully said "that smells like Fierce!".
Once again I got ripped off by a lack off time so I couldn't use my Glacial Lemon Chill soap. Hopefully tomorrow!
I hope to freeze myself good tomorrow and enjoy a good, proper three pass shave with the Glacial Lemon Chill soap. If not that one it'll be with another Glacial scent. Today's shave was pretty decent, but not close enough and just cooling, not freezing!
I'm beginning to have a tough time deciding which Stoylin combination to get as part of my NB18. I think it's between Xecutive Man(which I still haven't broken out yet-the sample-but I sniff it from time to time), Stirling Gentleman, and Coniferous. I won't be deciding for a month or so, but if you want to have fun throwing your choices at me, please do.
I did it - froze myself in fine style with that Glacial Lemon Chill bath soap, shaving soap, and balm. The wife couldn't believe how I could have showered with such a cold soap, but she told me I smelled so nice. The shaving soap lathered like a bomb, and three passes were enough for me to get as smooth as silk. The matching balm felt frigid as well as so comfortable!
Perhaps by the time I end my membership at TSD(which could indeed be the day before I die), I will have used all 3. . It's an $$$$$ issue for now.
Strangely enough, the one and only aftershave splash sample I have which is the Red Delicious is strong enough to be a cologne.
I had so much freezing fun using the Glacial Spearmint soap this morning. The matching balm felt so nice and cold, with lots of soothing to boot!
