That's not what I mean at all. For instance : what do you mean is finally making suds ? Did you just now start using it, or was it not producing suds? What is the process you use to build a lather ?
Paul, could you elaborate on this some? A shave soap should produce the suds the first time you use it. It should be spilling over the edges when the container is new and full.
Well, the WSP soap certainly does spill over the edges, and has for most of my shaves with it, since it's packed so tightly. But until this morning, it looked flat and hardly used after each use. As I said, my other soaps showed suds much earlier(66, Stirling, TSD Lanolin/Russian Leather, Local Gent Co.).
I like the way that the brushes always seem to pop in your photos. Happy Friday. Rum Runner Friday. Bravo. You have a wonderful collection of straights Brian. Do you try to rotate through the all?
Thanks, Clint! It's been a wild week. I was on a local radio show last night promoting the band and talking about what we do this time of year but also the year-round activities. We had a contingent of students there to perform a few tunes. All of that on top of a full school day and a two hour practice after school. But, it will slow down soon. We have our last contest next Saturday. After that we'll back off to just one after-school practice for an hour. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Thank you Andrew. The background is black granite on the kitchen counter tops. The island has a contrasting gray granite top that is often featured in SOTD photos.
Thanks, guys. As I predicted, a total hip replacement is in order, but I'll have to defer at least until the summer when the kids are out of school. In the short term, I'll go for a steroid injection on the 27th. Maybe that will give me some relief for now.
Thank you. I have a couple hundred straights, but tend to rotate through my favorites dozen or so. Most of my straights are in need of honing and I’m too busy right now. I hope to add more to the rotation this winter.
