DeHaven Model 3 with Kai Mild AC blade and my last drop of Cella. Great shave, much better than yesterday with the C3.

Saturday's Straight/OC Shave Proraso Pre Shave Soap Commander Renewal Jayaruh #222 Weck U.S. Military Straight Personna Super Stainless Hair Shaper Gillette NEW LC Gillette Silver Blue CWR Thayer's Peach WH Pinaud Vanilla I used my new to me Weck Sextoblade U.S. Military Straight for the first time. No stropping necessary. I used a Personna Super Stainless Hair Shaper blade. Then, for OCtober, I finished up with my Gillette NEW LC with Jayaruh handle. I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #222 synthetic brush. I did the first pass with my Weck U.S. Military straight with a Personna Super Stainless Hair Shaper blade and then clean up with the Gillette NEW LC and Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
THURSDAY'S SHAVE Prep: shower with SV Cosmo bath soap, Musgo Real Oakmoss Razor: Gillette Tech, Sumerset Blade: Bic Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft Soap: Cattie's Bubbles 322 Post: Chatillion Lux Taum Bauk A/S Absolutely love the scent of CB 322, it is a earthy Vetiver similar to Mike's or L&L Marshlands but with a bit more complexity. Scooped a small amount out and lathered in the copper bowl. For some reason the lather was seriously lacking cushion and got some irritation as a result. It held a nice amount of water but was not overly thirsty, the lack of cushion could have been from adding too much water but it was enough to tilt the table on this shave. The scent is so awesome I would recommend it to anyone that likes that dirty dark Vetiver type of scents. Finished off with CL Taum Bauk which is a scent the GF really liked, it has a sophisticated cologne scent and a nice menthol kick. Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss Razor: Icon X3, Maggard handle Blade: Bolzano (1st shave) Brush: Razorock Plissoft Soap: B&M Hallows Post: PAA Sangre De Drago, Myrsol Emulsion Had a interesting shave this afternoon. Great lather and scent from Hallows so no complaints there. Did have some trouble with the razor handle, the threads are a bit shakey which may be a manufacturing defect since I was very careful when assembling the razor. As a result the blade exposure was a bit strange, but still managed to get a smooth shave. Finished off with the epic scent of Sangre De Drago and the moisturizing properties of Emulsion. Hope everyone had a great shave!
Tonight's shave was with a major "Major" Rescue Razor. I had a perfect 2 pass shave, with Near BBS results. Zero issues, with a flawless shave. Razor- "The Old English Razor", M.J.Higgins, Sheffield. Brush- Omega 10066 Boar Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

FRIDAY the 13th SHAVE RAZOR: Sabi Gen 1 TTO - my 1st TTO razor, and I think a very handsome one in the gunmetal finish - my most aggressive TTO - still! BLADE: DORCO ST-300 Platinum - * shim added under blade - 4, 5 0r 6 uses of this blade - I don't count SHAVE CREAM: Barbasol Pacific Rush - what a great scent this has! BRUSH: No. Applied the lather with my fingers, and did spend a little more time rubbing it into the skin. PRE-SHAVE: Hot water wash with Ivory Soap, hot water rinse. POST SHAVE: Hot water rinse AFTER SHAVE: Blue Steel (hybrid mix of 1 part Aqua Velva Ice Blue / 1 part Murray & Lanman Florida Water) Still on the DE kick, but I wanted to try something new this morning. I resisted the urge to use Listerine as an after shave. Instead, I mixed up a small batch of BLUE STEEL - Thanks Enrico! The shave was excellent - typical 3 pass BBS for me. This Sabi is my favorite TTO razor. Got excellent protection form the Barbasol. Great scent! Blue Steel after shave is a nice blended scent. I like it. Great finish to the week.
FRIDAY the 13th SHAVE RAZOR: Schick Eversharp type E2 BLADE: Schick SHAVE SOAP: Gray Abomination (mixture of three soaps (two Stirling and WSP) BRUSH: The Illuminator (AKA The Black Badger of Barbados) AFTER SHAVE: Florida Frost (Five parts Florida Water and three parts Osage Rub) I'm back to trying a SE, a nice smooth shave, but a few weepers. Need to get use to SE technique.
OCtober!!! October 13 Razor - Fatip Piccolo Blade - (1) Pre-shave - Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Soap - Truefitt & Hill 1805 Brush - Jayaruh #46 Post - Alum The Fatip is up in rotation for OCtober and I love it. I've liked this razor since the first shave with it and have been looking forward to spending three days with it. This is a razor that will bite if you disrespect it. However, show it the love and handle it right and you won't get a finer shave anywhere. I'm pairing it with the Perma-Sharp blade from St. Pete, probably my favorite of the Russians from there. I'm using Truefitt & Hill 1805 for the three shaves and I'm going to add the Stirling pre-shave soap for all three as well. I'll be washing my face with it and only doing a light rinse before lathering over it. The feel it gives is marvelous and the hint of menthol really adds some nice cooling and aroma to the 1805. The JR46 for the shave tonight did a fantastic job once I got the water right. I had to adjust just a bit to get the lather to really pop but I got there. What can I say except WOW! Smooth shave, no blood, two passes and just a bit of touch up and the baby is in the house, fed, bathed, and sleeping. My face is incredibly smooth and soft with the help of the pre-shave soap and the alum was mostly quiet. A few tiny hot spots as usual but nothing to worry about. This was a great start for this razor and I hope the next two go as well! This was a fun shave and I took my time with it and enjoyed it since the house is mine for two nights. This is living. Hope you have some fun planned for the weekend. My fun will be selling a lot of beds (I hope) and getting in two more of these shaves!

Can't argue with the quality of your product selection, but I have questions about your brush! (Apologies If I've asked before) Is the handle made of wood and if so, what kind? What knot is in your brush? It looks much like my Whipped Dog High Mountain badger You two guy should consider starting a discussion about these AS blends. I've found one of my own that I like; Three Leathers - one part each MEM English Leather, Vintage Avon Leather, & Pinaud Special Reserve. While it knocks the hard edge off S.R., there's a coniferous scent that appears out of nowhere.
