  1. Wednesday October. 18 - Wool Fat Wednesday and Odds and Ends October

Supply Provision Single Edge injector on two-dot plate. / Personna ( about 5)
Semogue Owners Club cherrywood boar brush
    Kent/MWF in wooden tub
Alum and Portland General Store's Willow Toner

I managed to get a good lather whipped up from the Fat using the SOC boar brush today. Maybe the brush is finally breaking in or I am learning to load it correctly or both.

I now get a good shave from the SP injector on the second plate every time I use it. No blood or irritation today. Alum had nothing much to say.

I used the PGS black willow bark toner again today. It gives a pleasant astringent cleansing that I quite enjoy. Its main drawback is that it has a smell reminiscent of tree bark steeped in vinegar. Funny that. It will never win any scent awards though.
  2. Fantastic setting for a photo Doug. You live in the midst of some gorgeous scenery.
  3. Congrats on getting both the brush and SP razor dialed in. :eatdrink047:
  4. Thanks very much Clint.
  5. We just made it home from Maya's Surgery. She did have a labrum tear and the doctor was able to fully repair the tear. She is still a nauseous and in a lot of pain but that was to be expected. She will be on crutches for the next 2-4 months followed by some intensive physical therapy but this should end with her pain free and able to resume normal activities. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
  6. Thanks Clint! Continued prayers for Maya as she faces the next stages.
  7. Great news Clint. :happy088:

  9. That’s fantastic news that the surgery was a success and that, in time, she’ll be able to get back to a normal life again!!
  10. Thanks very much.
