Nice looking set up Perry! I have used the Piacenza bath soap, and both my wife and I enjoyed the scent. I'll have to look at getting some shave soap and AS st some point.
Thank you, Jim! I really enjoy the Piacenza scent. It has a soapy element after dry down that I like. It smells and feel very clean. I think I had a sample of the bath soap from a Stirling order and that prompted me to get the soap and splash. Rod's practice of including samples is genius!

Brief Tabactober Pause I recently acquired the Wholly Kaw/Chattilon Lux collaboration soap Yuzu Rose Patchouli, so I had to try it out. This shave was splendid. The lather was thick and slick, easing the stubble reduction with my Rockwell + voskhod. The post shave feel is amazingly smooth and comfortable. I used the YRP toner anyway to extend the scent. Thursday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep Soap: Route 66 Sweeney Todd Razor: Gillette NEW Short Comb Blade: Vintage Schick Plus Platinum (Shave #20) Brush: oscar11 TGN 2-Band Finest-24mmx50mm Aftershave: Bulgari Man in Black WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Route 66 Sweeney Todd today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 TGN 2-Ban Finest brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Bulgari Man in Black aftershave. Bob
Weber DLC razor Sharp Star blade Omega 10066 brush TSD Iced Lemon Grass SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Pinaud Citrus Musk cologne 1st use of the Sharp Star blade and.......it went fine. While shaving with it, it seemed like I really felt the blade but not in a bad way. I just knew it was there. But a dandy shave was the result of the above components. Now go enjoy your day folks.

SOTN OCtober 18th Gillette Single Ring Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (6) TFS Mastro Miche Ever-Ready 200T Canoe AS This shave was the second part of the shootout between the Gillette Single Ring and the Leresche #34. Both have reputations for being aggressive and willing to spill blood for any minor laps in concentration. Tonight's shave was very nice and I didn't feel threatened by the Single Ring at all. Overall both razors are amazing shavers capable of delivering the baby in short order. Neither felt like it was going to bite, riding the cap. Overall I have to tip my hat to the Leresche, it just felt a bit more comfortable in the hand and a little less edgy on the face. This was also my first time using Mastro Miche. The scent was very light and to me mainly smelled of oak moss, vetiver, and bergamot (which is nowhere near the official scent description which I will post below.) A heavy load gave me a bowl of creamy, slick, shiny lather (not quite super goop). I felt the performance of the soap was good, but did not really stand out in any particular category. I finished of with a splash of Canoe, which is very similar to Skin Bracer and Clubman though a little more refined. Mastro Miche scent description: Head: black currant, plum, pineapple, citrus green Heart: sandal wood, black orchid, white calla Base: cashmere wood, musk, cedar wood, Tonka bean Have a great day friends!
Very fine condition Probak with Super Max BD (2), delivers an excellent mild shave. Two pass head shave yields results not quite as close as the Famex yesterday but a very pleasant shaver, an easier go than the Old Type it resembles.
Tuesday 10/19/2017 Razor: Persona Flex Head Blade: Gillette TwinJector (2) Lather: Proraso Green Pre Shave: Homemade Brush: VDH Badger AS: Brut Splash On Again, another great shave, WTG/ATG with a small amount of clean up. I can`t say enough about the pairing of the Personna Flex and the TwinJector blade(s). I just got a new pack of Kai captain "mild". I loaded one in my Hawk, thanks to PickledNorthern`s gift of a fantastic razor. I can hardly wait to use it. Just have to wait until my meds start working right again. This morning`s shave was in my top ten, smooth, clean and close, beautiful. God Bless and happy shaving to all. Bill

Rockwell 6C Razor #4 Blue Bird Hi Stainless Blade My Halloween Birthday Brush Klar Shave Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum After Shave First time using a Maggard Black & White synthetic knot and it whipped up a great and thick lather with the vintage Klar soap. I think this is the third time using the Blue Bird blade and it performed great. Two passes with a hint of touch up for an extremely smooth and comfortable BBS shave.
