Very nice photo Clint! As much as I love fall - the crisp morning air - the reasonable daytime temps - the fact that summer is finally over....our foliage this year is dismal. I was truly hoping for a beautiful show of color. Instead, the leaves are going straight to brown and falling off.

SOTD October 19, 2017 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Kai Captain Mild Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk Brush: Semogue 1520c boar Lather: Stirling Piacenza Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Piacenza aftershave WTG, touch up Smooth and comfortable shave this morning. The Black Hawk works well each use. Light pressure and good angle and the results are great. The Stirling Piacenza soap lathered easily and set the backdrop for a successful shave. Very nice all around. Still enjoying the Stirling pre-shave soap. I've had solid and smooth shaves all month when using it. Have a great day!
Here's my intel dredged from basenotes.net. Tai Winds;"Similar to Brut by Faberge, a fresh fougere with that classic barbershop powdery base and sweet lavender, some bergamot notes, with vanilla and musk" Brisk Spice; "their version of Old Spice... a vanilla-like, slightly powdery vanilla and heliotrope, a dash of cinnamon, three or four dashes of clove, peppery carnation, and a ghost of an herbal-green/floral." Both are discontinued fragrances. Avon never reintroduces, but they may make something similar with a new name. If you enjoy a vintage scent, shop for dusty bottles.

F. Trumper Limes Shaving Cream Post: Hot/Cold water rinse, alum block, cold towelx2, Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer After Shave: Captains Choice Bay Rum Once again my furry alarm clock thought it would be a good idea to wake me up early. So, I was able to enjoy an excellent 3 pass shave using Trumper's Limes Shaving Cream. The Omega Silvertip whipped up some limey goodness that was slick, smelled heavenly and left my mug feeling nice and soft. The GSB is starting to fade a little, so I was only able to pull out a DFS. For the finish, I used some Captains Choice Bay Rum A/S. It's nice but no VIBR! Have a great shave, have a great day!

Great lather provided by Kathleen @Salty Belle whipped up by Jason's @jtspartan brush in a textured ceramic bowl from Japan via Jack @Sparrow. A no worries shave with the OC three piece. Good ways into DFS territory with just a single nick on my lower neck. Alum closed it right away, and finished with a matching classic barbershop aftershave, then a splash of the very same cologne. Good Shaves Y'all!
Very cool looking photo and razor. Great looking photo Perry. Did you ever decided which of the AC blades work best for you? Two of Tom's creations look great together.
Thanks, Clint. I have tried the Kai Captain Mild and Feather Pro so far. I like them both. Not sure I can pick a favorite yet because my experience is limited. Haven't tried the Feather Super yet. Thanks for the PIF a while back.
Great news Clint, I will continue to pray for a speedy recovery. Luckily the younger we are the faster we heal.
Love those scales, Keith! Fabulous photo, Clint! Nice Shot Jim, are you still pushing your blades into extended lives ? Very nice, Perry! Nice shot, Brian! Those furry alarm clocks get us every time. Nice setup, Rick. Canoe!!
