It is a nice looking brush. BUT......#54 arrived today and is still boxed up at home so I'm distracted enough by knowing it's there for tonight's shave that I'm immune to that particular ploy. At least for tonight.

They're here! My trio of Gillette adjustables just arrived back from Delta Echo! I am very impressed with Delta Echo's professional workmanship, starting with the return packaging. Inside the mailing package, each razor had its own little Delta Echo marked box. That box was jammed full of shredded paper packing with the razor nested firmly in the middle. And the razor itself was wrapped in a piece of black felt tied with a silky red string to match the Ink (TM) color scheme. The refinishing on each razor is immaculate and all parts turn and move smoothly. The razors were all grungy and worn when I sent them off. They all now look factory fresh and ready for another 50 years of service.

Thank you Clint! These synthetic knots lather, look, and feel great. Space age tech bristles installed in a Classic profile handle make a wonderful combo. Thank you Andrew! I do like the similarity of Canoe to Clubman. Ought to pick up SB so I can compare. I use the Pinaud as the barbershop whim strikes, but save the Canoe for special occasions like when a certain friend visits.
