Thank you Bruce. Jeff's Soap is some good stuff. Since I have enjoyed it so much, I anticipate trying some other Cold River soaps next year.

Great lineup Neal. It's hard to beat two classics such as the LC and Wool Fat.

How do you find the scent? I wasn't sure about it at first. Even based on the description, it's not a scent I would've selected. I bought it mainly to help the cause, and partly to try CRSW soap. After using it a number of times, it started growing on me, and now I've come to love it. I think I'll miss it when I (eventually) use it all up!

Just a great shave this morning. I am seeing a lot of the bottom of the MWF dish, but the lather was terrific this morning. As I thought, this razor shaves much like the Sheraton, the weight though is noticeable. After two passes and a little clean up on my jaw, I am very near BBS. A great start to my Tuesday. I hope everyone has a great day!

Our situations are basically the same. I bought the soap to help a great cause since I was sure I would not like the scent. Well after using it I have come to enjoy the scent and it has grown on me. I'm not sure I like it enough to miss it when it's gone.

    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM stainless
    Razor: GEM Featherweight
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Stirling The Lounge
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Easy and enjoyable shave this morning. My technique with these GEM razors has certainly improved. I enjoy using them and get good results. The Pushbutton is more preferable to me than the Featherweight, but they're both great. The 1912 I have is a little different and takes some more concentration, but is still good. Terrific lather and skin care from The Lounge soap and the Jeeves aftershave is exceptional. Very nice all around.

    Enjoy your day!
