Here's a couple of photos showing all the brushes I currently have in my Den. I've done some thinning, and these are all keepers. Not shown is a B-400 by Tom aluminum handle with 25 mm and 27 mm ferrules - haven't yet decided what knots to install, but I'm always looking for recommendations. Knot size and loft are noted in parentheses. There isn’t a slacker in that whole bunch, Charlie. How are you liking the Chubby now that you’ve had it a while?
Thanks Jared. I like the Chubby 2 a lot, but it took awhile to get used to it. Loaded properly, it makes a mountain of lather. It has some nice backbone, with just a bit of scritch. It's quite different than my other brushes, most especially the Kents.
Here are the brushes that inhabit my den. The bottom row are all customs. Wolf Whiskers Silvertip, Jayaruh #54, 30 DC LE by @jtspartan , Jayaruh #46. Both Jayaruh brushes and the LE are synthetic. Top row: Semogue 620 boar, Stirling synthetic, Omega 10066 boar, Vie Long 12601 Horse. Not shown: Omega Pro 48 boar and West Coast Shaving synthetic. Both of those now reside in SWMBO's shaving gear. Also a VDH boar that is used only for head shaves and a Tweezerman badger. Cheap cheap.
Actually Andrew there are 2 more. The one I'm using for my SOTD, and a Old Spice brush I have in a gift set.
Well you made one. Then another. And another. And........ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
