I used to follow this method, but in recent years have just started filling up the bowl from the start and just take it nice and slow. The choice of tobacco is in my opinion may be more important than how much tobacco is packed initially. A mild to moderate Virginia or Vaper, of the correct moisture level, i.e. not too wet, would be just the ticket. OGS is just about ideal right from the tin, and well rubbed.
No snow expected here on the Gulf Coast. Breaking in the Stanwell 403 with PS Dutch Natural Cavendish and a cold Busch. A pleasant sunny 77° at 43% humidity. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
More first snow pipe.... Gardesana Rossa 308 Egg Kitchen Sink 24 hours ago, it was 84 and I was mowing grass. Currently, 32 and light snow at Henderson CO USA.
Quite the process. I'd need someone to show me the whole "hand over the top and spin on your eyebrow while shaking in a counter clockwise direction" part. I gather it's caffeinated, can be sweetened, and tends to be consumed in a social environment with The Host doing the brewing. So what does it taste like?
Yesterday afternoon, Luxury Twist Flake in the Rossi Prince. Last night I worked my recent acquisitions into Mason jars. Then I did a little light reaming. More cake that I realized. So far Saturday has been a lazy day though I have plenty to do. Waiting for the coffee to kick in.
Not yet. That's a coffee cup. I've been blessed with a (generally) non-addictive personality. That Busch in a previous photo was my first beer since the one Michelob I had on a fishing trip weeks ago. But you never know
Not being terribly impressed with Newminister Superior Navy Flake, I'm looking for ways to use it. Today trying half and half Newminister Superior NF with McClelland Dark Star, a Dark very mature and naturally sweet broken Flake, smoked in my Stefano. Not bad, next time maybe 2 to 1 Dark Star to NSNF. Accompanied by some Irish breakfast tea.
