Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman w/Menthol aftershave. Bob

Y'know, one reviewer of Stetson wrote that it doesn't give him that "Western" feeling. That puzzled me, as I always thought of Stetson as achieving just that.

This can has not started "wheezing" or "spitting" yet thus showing evidence it's about to give up. I'm still only using it for face shaves, which by the way was an excellent shave. Maybe not perfect BBS, but very close. The head shave was equally good. I enjoy the VDH Luxury. It was my first shave puck after all and it continues to provide me with excellent results. Well, that is POSSIBLE, but I felt sure I was reading a commentary on the aftershave. Funny, I was indeed thinking of the hat, and was going to add "The hat is Western, so why not the A.S?"
