Much better than my last rocket shave. Don't quite know why the last one was so bad. Very smooth today. Could have happily given up after 2 passes but made some touch ups too.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Colgate Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #227 synthetic brush. I did one pass with the Wade & Butcher followed by clean up with the Gillette NEW LC razor and Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Post - Alum

Second shave with the MMOC this time around and I added the pre-shave into this one. Between that and the focus on avoiding pressure the alum stayed quiet which is very nice. The 30 Day brush and Tabac worked perfectly together and I had no problems with two passes and some Gillette Slides. Guess they were Gem slides tonight. anyway, DFS is in the house and I'm perfectly happy with that. I was sorry it didn't take longer to shave as I was in the Zen groove tonight with it. One more go around with this setup tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

Oh - for those following the latest haunted razor on ebay - the auction ended this evening with the razor unsold. I laughed pretty good at that. This one deserves to stay put until it's priced reasonably. Five bucks would be about right.

BLADE: Astra Superior Platinum DE blade - 8th shave with this blade
PREP: hot water shower with Zest Soap and rinse
PRE SHAVE: - bloom water from AOS - floated some water on top of cream.
SOAP: The Art of Shaving - Lavender Essential Oil - for Sensitive Skin - bowl lather
MUG: Vintage Old Spice Shave Mug
BRUSH: Shea Moisture Badger Brush - produces an excellent rich lather
POST SHAVE: Hot water rinse.
AFTER SHAVE: Clubman Lilac Vegetal
BALM: NONE NEEDED

I had 2 days growth to get rid of. The Micro Touch One is a quality razor that can give a very nice shave.
3 Pass BBS with touchups. This razor is quiet and smooth. The shave was very good. No issues.

RAZOR: Pacific Quality Stainless DE Razor (Handle)
BLADE: Pacific Double Edge blade - 5th shave with this razor & blade
PREP: hot water wash with Ivory Soap and rinse
BRUSH: Shea Moisture Badger Brush - produces an excellent rich lather
PRESHAVE: Hot water wash with Ivory Soap, followed by bloom water from AOS
SHAVE CREAM: The Art of Shaving - Lavender Essential Oil - for Sensitive Skin - bowl lather
POST SHAVE: Hot water rinse.
AFTER SHAVE: Clubman Lilac Vegetal
BALM: NONE NEEDED

The geometry on this razor is a touch more aggressive than the Micro Touch One. Feedback is very apparent both in blade feel and sound.
Did a standard 3 pass shave with touchups. Got a fine BBS shave. Maybe a better shave than the Micro Touch One.
To be honest, I may have worked marginally harder to get there with this economy razor. Oh what fun!
