  1. Thank you Jason. The photo is taken on my computer desk in the front room. I just back up across the room and use the big zoom lens.

  6. Thank you, Doug! My first ever shave with the GSB was smooth, and lather with the Soap Destroyer was plentiful. My Bride gave my combined CF Lavender and Alt-Innsbruck scents a 7 out of 10 rating. She said anything above 5 was acceptable, but I need to wear the "good stuff" to get a 9 or 10.

Just for fun, I'll paint on some Clubman later this week, and see how she rates it. :shocked003:
  7. Thank you, Brian!

Late post of my early morning shave. Nice and smooth with this razor, which is quite a bit different than the Koraat. This is hollow ground and about 5/8. I was near BBS after two passes, and it was comfortable. My wife is getting back home today. I am not sure who is more excited to see her, my kids or me. I hope everyone is having a great day!
  14. I hope you manage to stay in the house after that joke. :D

  16. Great filter effect Jim. Your wife will be the happiest she is home.
  17. Thank you Jim.
  18. Early on, I wore Clubman without fully appreciating its manly potency, and my Bride asked me if I was trying to "knock her down." I also recall some comments about needing to "air out the house." I'll apply it more conservatively this time around. With age comes wisdom. :)

I'm not even half way through the bottle I purchased five years ago. Every time we stop by the drug store where I purchased it, I point out the two bottles they have on the shelf. My Bride claims they are the same two five-year-old bottles. They do look a might dusty. ;)

    Razor: Pre-War Fat Handle Tech
    Blade: German Wilkie (3)
    Brush: 30DC LE/Pure Badger
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

I don't remember if I posted Friday's shave, but it was the same as today's. It's been a hectic weekend, so no shave yesterday and a late one today. Not a lot to say; just a BBS with no issues and nothing from the Alum.

I'll probably do one more with the Pre-War tech tomorrow and then it's on to a wartime Contract Tech which should arrive tomorrow. I'm really curious about this one; it has the 'S' baseplate which looks like a pre-War but with oval slots.
