Kept my set up for day two still love the scent of Barrister and Mann LLC. Today I decided to dial in to 4.5 on the Qshave and I managed a BBS shave with two passes. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk
That blade looks like it could cause some serious damage with a lapse of concentration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If i didn't already have a 30mm Two band fan shaped MS brush in bound it would have been much more difficult to deny the call of the Chubby.
https://www.simpsonshavingbrushes.com/store/brushes/synthetic-brushes/ BTW a Simpson's synthetic feels unlike any other synthetic that I've used. The knot is so dense that is builds a thick and creamy lather without even trying.
Fantastic photo, Charlie! Great photo, Clint. I hope the Dr can find you some additional relief. Cool photo Jim, how many shave on average are you getting out of your Gem blades ? Nice setup, Mark! Mmm Iced Pineapple! I hope your wife gets some good news. "Killer" razor Brian!
Its actually a sweet shaver with the smiling blade. It really doesn’t have any true spikes so it is harmless. It’s one of my favorite blades.
Razor: Gillette Red Tip Blade: Personna Tungsten (4) Brush: El Druida Red Heart Chakte Kok/African Blackwood 2 Band Soap: Nuavia Blu A/S: Floid Blue An outstanding 3 pass shave with this gear.
If you want any color other than the classic Simpson Ivory you have to go through Simpson. I bought my ivory Chubby 2 Synthetic from Straight Razor Designs. They had the best price I could find.
SOTN November 5th RazoRock Mamba GSB (2) Simpson's CH2 Synthetic Faux Tortoiseshell Dr Jon's Hyrda (Still going) Canoe AS Last night I took The Soap Destroyers to nearly gone sample of Dr Jon's Hydra hoping to finish it off. The Destroyer took a big chink out of the sample but couldn't wipe it out. It did turn it into super goop in short order. Second shave with the Mamba and everything fell in line. The GSB glided along felling whiskers and leaving nothing in its wake. After three passes the baby was waiting for me. I finished up with a splash of Canoe which my wife quickly commented on telling me I smelled like her Grandpa. Have a great day my friends!
Thank you Andrew. Everybody has a weak link in their body. My weak link is the gut. While I have true ongoing issues with the stomach and colon, the current issues are stress related. They are getting better but still have a way to go. I really just need to decompress.
