    Tabacstag!
Terrific Tabac shave, which is no surprise since Tabac never fails. This shave was made possible by my friend JR, who sent me a refill of my favorite soap. The Silver Surfer made loads of yogurty lather quickly and easily. Tabac balsam wrapped this shave up right, leaving my skin soft and ready for a cold morning.

No complaints at all about this shave because it was smooth, comfortable, and very easy. This Paradise Frost soap has such a beautiful citrusy scent and it gives explosive, rich lather. The menthol is there, but it's not strong. The Lucky Tiger balm cooled and soothed my skin so nicely, and the Amici aftershave felt great.

    A good day to all!

    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM stainless
    Razor: GEM 1912
    Brush: Surrey badger
    Lather: Stirling The Lounge
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Nice and easy Tobacco Tuesday shave today. The 1912 is okay for me. It's not my favorite of the GEM razors but gets the job done. Stirling's The Lounge soap followed with the Jeeves aftershave is a fine combination. Good results all around.

    Have a great day!

Long ago I swore I would never use another Dorco blade after using a ST-300. What a horrible blade! Well, times change and I'm fickled. Actually, I had heard that the Prime blade was quite an improved blade over the ST family so I thought "Why not"?. So, the blade worked but flint and broken glass do too. The result is not bad but the journey wasn't very comfortable. I'll try it in a different razor tomorrow and see what happens. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Superb SOTD was had, the RazoRock Mamba is so forgiving, smooth and efficient. I used a new Polsilver SI blade.
I bought out the WSO GIT, this soap must be almost 4 years old and still works great.
    Irish Countryside smells great.
