November 8 SOTD: Razorock Plissoft Brush @Vlasta Sample A SC Phoenix DOC Stirling Unscented PSB Aqua Velva AS I used a sample from the mystery box supplied by @Vlasta. It has a pleasant scent and decent performance. I got a DFS on two passes with the DOC, and capped it with a little AV. I hope everyone has a great day!
SOTD November 8, 2017 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Schick Razor: Schick M injector Brush: JR #142 black badger Lather: Strop Shoppe Baker Street Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Baker Street aftershave WTG, touch up Been a while since I've used Strop Shoppe's Baker Street. Wow! Terrific lather with all the properties you want. I love this scent and am pleased Stirling was able to revive it. This was a great shave all around. Still a lack of focus this month. I'm enjoying going through some neglected soaps and enjoying what I have. Have a great day!
Great picture, Perry! How would you compare to Stirling's Baker Street? I know it is supposed to be the same scent as Strop Shoppe's, but I have always wondered if it actually is or not.

NOVember 8th Gillette Flare Tip w Nacet (1) Omega Pro/ Walnut Handle TFS Mastro Miche SS & AS Thayers This will be my set up for the week. I picked this TFS matching soap and splash because I really haven't used the soap much lately, and the splash not much at all. I picked the Flare Tip SS as it has been neglected lately as well. The brush was made last week. It is made out of a chunk of walnut and I slipped a brass chisel ferrule over the wood. No real practical reason other than I thought it might look a little different. The knot is a 27mm Omega that I harvested from a Pro 49 handle. I gave it the refrigerator treatment, but it will still benefit from some break-in shaves. Nice 3 pass shave this morning. This usually isn't my favourite lather, but it is lather. I am quite smooth, but did cut myself on my upper cheek. Not sure how, and it is more of a cut than weeper. Odd. This flare tip really is a nice little shaver. I'm looking forward to using it all week. Have a great day all!
The Strop Shoppe soap seems to be more minty than the splash. The Stirling splash has that juniper element at the forefront whereas the original soap I have is much more mint forward. Not sure of the age of this soap and perhaps the juniper has worn off. They're very close otherwise. Haven't tried or smelled the Stirling Baker Street soap.
