    My dear Bride rated the combined scents of CF Lavender and Fine Platinum a 7 out of 10. A little lower than I had hoped, but all is good. In fact, I remained focused this morning and had the best two-pass shave I've had in a while. That's remarkable, considering I went ATG on my upper lip and chin.

    Day 2 and 3 of the week with this set up. I got a very nice lather the last few days. I find that you need to be a little more cognisant of not adding too much water too soon to this soap. I have had two really nice, close shaves with the flare tip. Some scents 'grow' on me with usage. I'm not so sure that is the case with this AS. Not unpleasant, just not my favourite.
    One question- the practice of backing off 1/4 turn for a little more aggressive razor, is that true of all Gillette TTOs? This one?
