November 10 - Qshave Focus

Razor - Qshave Futur Clone

Pre-Shave - Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap

Dialed up the Qshave to 5.5 tonight. Second night on the Feather blade and the Soap Commander and 30DC brush made a very nice lather. I really don't know how much difference I would be able to tell between 5.5 and 6, but this is one full setting above last night's 4.5, so we'll see how that compares at least.

The higher you set this razor the more noise it makes. Clearly it's cutting very well when it is this noisy, and it is still extremely smooth and comfortable. Again, no blood or other problems with this shave. Two passes and touch up and the baby is once again in the house. The alum is a bit warmer in spots than last night. I may have needed to adjust my technique a bit to avoid that, or it may just be the natural progression into the wider gap. Either way it wasn't a problem. I'm thinking this is as good as I had at 6, or at least comparable. I'm thinking tomorrow I may drop all the way to 1 on the razor just to do a comparison from high to low. Another great Baby Butt Smooth Shave with this 5+ Blade razor. I last used this razor about 3 weeks ago.
This is the original 5 blade Gillette that was introduced in 2006. That's 11 years ago. I have acquired quite a few of these handles over the years - for free.
This is a very competent shaving platform. It allows me to complete an excellent, close shave in about 5 minutes. That includes prep time.

Wonderful shave with the Timeless Bronze .. the Shannon's soap Etherea (made for and sold by Timeless) is fabulous. Also i am really liking the RazoRock beehive synthetic brush. Great start to my morning.
