    Great review of the soap, Andrew. The price certainly is a positive as well. Reserve Cool is supposed to be quite close to Blue as well. It is also an excellent soap. Like you, I have not tried the original.

    I agree on the super speeds, Jim. There is a good reason why the basic design lasted for over 30 years- it works.
    Do you ‘back it off’ a 1/4 turn, or twist it tight?

    This one will for sure. It’s all good! I actually enjoy the finishing work part. Not the drywall, though. That is torture.

    Time for my next blade in the Clone. I'm behind Neal in testing and that's as it should be. Good to see him sampling a new-to-him blade even if it's just a Personna in disguise. Loaded up the Tutte Le Barbe with a non-Omega boar and scored a great cooling lather. I left it set as I did the blade swap. Needed to juice it up for the minute it took to get back to actually shaving. Three passes at setting 4-1/2 and I rinsed to see how well the tested combo worked. Not a DFS, so more soap and another nearly all over WTG clean up pass. Much more better as Justin Wilson might say. Alum was smooth and quiet, and the AS minty cool.
