1. I've seen a bunch of threads where everyone shares their favorite Stirling scents, and plenty of lists of everyone's favorites from Razorock, Fine, and PAA, but what about Wet Shaving Products? I only have the Sandalwood and I love it. It lasts a long time, it is simple sandalwood without other florals or sweets competing. I also feel that it works very well as an aftershave, leaving a nice post shave feel to the skin. I think it is time to add another bottle, but which scent?
  2. I match your comments, as Sandalwood is all I have for now. I HOPE it lasts a long time, as I think it'll be gone long before the Sandalwood soap I have(also from WSP). I like it too. Lee focuses on MANLINESS with his arsenal. I had my eye on the Matterhorn for my next one, but am seeing positive reports on the Mahogony.

  4. I was thinking Matterhorn, too, and Summer Breeze, and Gaelic Tweed, and Tobacco...
  5. Gaelic Tweed sounds similar to Stirling's Sharp Dressed Man.
  6. I shaved with the Mahogany SS tonight, I really like it.

  7. I've tried both Stirling Sharp Dressed Man and WSP Gaelic Tweed just in the past week.

WSP is a bit smoother scent, very close to GIT. Masculine and understated come to mind.

Stirling is a much stronger scent, though still very reminiscent of GIT.

Me, I prefer the scent of Stirling Sharp Dressed Man even though it doesn't agree with my skin. WSP is a VERY close second, though. Both are wonderful scents, can't go wrong either way.
  8. This is a scent I've wanted to try.

  12. I have a number of WSP soap and aftershave, I just can't get into them, the aftershaves leave me feeling like a giant slimmer hit me.
  13. I have the Barbershop and Mahogany, of which I prefer the Mahogany. It is one of my wife's favorites as well, so that probably skews my opinion.
  14. I ended up getting the Gaelic Tweed so now I have that and the Sandalwood. Neither gives me a slimy feeling. I will say that the Gaelic seems to dry a little faster than the Sandalwood. I have several Stirling aftershaves and some of those seem to dry faster than others, too, but no slimy feeling. Gaelic smells great by the way, if you like a classic cologne type scent.
  15. I only have one and that's barbershop. I think it's a great scent and would like to get the splash as well.
