That's amazing! In the wide shot at first glance, they look like regular Schicks. But then... I'm just amazed.
Anyone ever seen a B2 with a loading mechanism with a knob like this one? BTW the blades in the magazine and head are not actual blades, but just unsharpened blanks:
Thanks Perry, I originally though that this one was just a regular run of the mill B2. But I haven't found evidence of another one like it.
What a special treat to read this thread and view the pictures! There's still a lot of unanswered questions, but that's part of the mysterious fun.
I think I saw this one in a "B" Horror Film back in the early 70' called "Basket Case" or something like that! Man, you might have found a "Lot" that came through or is a window to a parallel universe! Whew!!! That D-type that takes DE blades...someone said, 'Now I've seen everything!" ....I second that emotion! There are some Twilight Zone looking pieces in there, for sure!
That B is drop dead good looking!.....You definitely got you a bonafied find there!!! Cats are gonna be talking about this stuff for years....
So, I was looking through the patents on @riverrun website and I'm pretty sure this razor design is the one being outlined is this patent: http://www.razors.click/patents/US2221379/patent/
I think you are spot on. I should have spotted that, as I have read every word of that patent before, but I've done the same with 204 other patents. That K is for Kuhnl if anyone wants to hear my opinion
