Both photos look great to me. The scales on the Dubl Duck are stunning. I am sure you'll get it honed sharp and smooth.

No more Island Lime? Bad. The Bay Rum had better stick around. :-(

I've always thought your pictures come out great. :happy088:

The one I really liked was your wife's reaction to a MAYhem Stupid Human Trick.

Sweet set up and crisp photo, Clint! :happy088:

Thanks Clint. I really like the C.O. Bigelow, and it's a deal at $5 for a large tube when you catch it on sale. It's also a nice option for travel, as it even performs well when applied brushless.

I'll be very interested in your impression of the Proraso Cypress Vetiver cream! :happy088:

Thank you, Jim. I appreciate the kind words.

I'm glad "H" treated you well! I bet those little pesky crows feet are gone! It looks like you're not the first person to use it!

Neal, good on you for taking care of Boris' and Yuri's beast of burden. They can hardly contain their excitement. :happy088:

Perry, did the water/vinegar soak remove much residue from your brushes? I've always been hesitant to do this. I periodically give my brushes a long soak in warm water and then shampoo and condition them. That seems to help, but then again, I can't really see what may be in the center of the knot.

No, not that I could tell. It seemed that the dish soap soak was more effective. That water looked cloudy and milky after the soak. The vinegar solution still looked clear and nothing accumulated at the bottom of the glass.

Just FYI, I set a Maseto knot in my new walnut handle that was hand crafted for me by our own @jtspartan, and it is one sweet setup! I can neither confirm nor deny if any bootleg aftershave may have been involved in the transaction nor if Boris and Yuri were involved in any way whatsoever. Rumor has it that Jason is one good smelling dude, though! 8CECA551-4928-4906-8E6E-4914330AFCA6.jpeg

That's a great looking straight razor, Adam. Are those the original scales?
