November 17 SOTD: Stirling Synthetic Brush @Vlasta Sample I Gillette Sheraton Stirling Unscented PSB Brut Classic AS Sample I was very similar to Cella, and I would guess that it is. It was a great two pass shave for DFS results. I used some Brut this morning, and it made me think of my days as a young boy. My dad wore this quite a bit back then, and it always has such a familiar scent to me. I may have to find a bottle of vintage juice. I hope everyone has a great day!
SOTD November 17, 2017 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Schick Razor: Schick J1 injector Brush: Omega 10049 boar Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave WTG, touch up Smooth and comfortable shave with this combination. I always look forward to my Friday shaves and today was no exception. We have all of next week off for Thanksgiving and we'll be traveling to Mobile, Alabama to my in-laws tomorrow. A nice and restful break is coming up! One odd thing was I had to reload my brush before applying for some touch-up areas. It was almost as if the brush just soaked up the lather. This was one of the brushes I cleaned on Wednesday evening and despite it being nice and soft it didn't load the same. Hmmm....... Further study is needed. Have a great day!
