    Thanks, Charlie! We love the panhandle, too. We go to Destin a good bit and we'll be down there right before New Years. Beautiful area!

    November 18 SOTD:

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    @Vlasta Sample J
    Gem Damaskeene
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Proraso Red AS

    The Damaskeene felt good this morning, and I got a DFS on two passes. These last few samples are a bit harder, so I am using my scuttle to lather up. I went full on warm shave this morning, a first in a very long time. It felt pretty good, and my efforts in the scuttle were rewarded with some slick cushiony lather. A little Proraso Red to finish up, and my Saturday is off to a great start. I hope everyone has a great day!

    It's been fun for me. There is one person who hasn't started the challenge, I am hoping @Vlasta will share the names of the creams with those of us who have completed the challenge before we are all done. I don't know if I can wait for a that long.

    Thank you both. Maya and I are relaxing and watching a little football . No adult beverages for me so that should prevent any unplanned purchases.

    Especially since you might be waiting a long time otherwise. Packages from @Vlasta's part of the world to my part of Canada average about two months for delivery - and that's air mail too. The bottleneck appears to be the Canada Post / Canada Customs processing centre in Vancouver. I bought something from a guy in NZ and it took just over two months to arrive. He commented that parcels he sent to Eastern Canada (cleared through Toronto I think) arrived in about ten days but ones shipped to BC or the Prairies (and cleared through Vancouver) took about six times longer. Just throwing that out there....

    Thanks for the tip! Generally what happens in The 30 Day thread stays in The 30 thread. Going to visit those grandkids near Macon, Georgia. Traveling tomorrow so I checked the Fried Green Tomatoes Buffet website. They are open on Sundays until 8 PM!
    Several years ago I got the chance to eat those Southern delicacies at the restaurant featured in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes". Thought about it, but didn't try the BBQ. ;)
