I used my Schick O type clone today. It’s my second shave with it and I can say it’s a mild razor. I’m using a chick blade in it and find I get an excellent two pass shave.
SOTD November 22, 2017 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: Schick Razor: Schick G8 injector Brush: Omega Hi synthetic Lather: Speick cream Post: Witch hazel, Speick aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch up The G8 worked well again today. I am starting to agree with someone on this thread who says their G8 is more aggressive than others in the G line. I didn't think so earlier but now with more time shaving with it I can agree more. It's not a timid injector. Smooth and efficient though, and fun to use. Nice shave today. Enjoy your day!
Wishing everyone, really great Thanksgiving Day Shaves!!! ShaverX posted this pix of an I2 sometime ago....I love it so I'm sharing it again...He called this: HYDROZILLA
@rAZor Goldilocks never looked better....the G8 has always been a favorite...I think that handle was genius!
Thur 23rd Nov Omega 11126 boar Speick Classic Cream Schick N3 Schick Japanese Twin [ 12 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off Tuff Red A/S Lotion Back from a night away and had such a good Shave with the Travel cream , that I decide to try it at home in a bowl, as when travelling I load it directly onto the brush. It provides a really great lather and provides such glide that the Shave was so easy, with a super finish all round. Considering that the blade is now on its 12th use , I am now convinced that I just have to push on and see how far it will go.

23 November Thanksgiving Day (U.S.) Pre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: Omega Boar Brush 81064 Soap: The Lounge, Stirling Razor: The General Black Alu (Head) & Stainless Steel Handle, Colonial Razors Blade: Schick Proline (4) Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and English Leather After Shave Photo: I wanted a close smooth shave that would last all day as we had family coming over for the holiday meal. Another great performance from the Stirling soap and after using the Omega Boar for the past 23 days it is breaking in quite nicely. I don't know if it the blade or my technique but The General tore me up. Not that I drew blood but was left with the alum block singing praise to the heavens. I may have to switch out blades and go back to the Kai Pinks to see if it was me or not. I got good results from the Pinks. I was really hoping to like the Schick Proline blades as everyone has nothing but praise for them but my first use has not been a good one. Oh well, can't please everybody. Finished off the shave with some new English Leather. When I bought it the Wife said "Eww that stinks", but when I had it on yesterday she didn't say a word about it.
24 November +8 Shaves Pre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: Omega Boar Brush 81064 Soap: Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera Razor: Valet VC2, Autostrop Blade: Feather FAS-10 Carbon Steel(CS), Feather Seikan (15) Strop: Amish made Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and WindJammer After Shave, Avon, Bottled by Avon Decanter Photo: After yesterdays shave I was looking for something a little more smooth and as seeing as it has been awhile since I last used the Valet with the CS blade I chose it. Did two passes that left me with a DFS.
Wanted to “shift gears” and join the Injector party... Razor: Stick Schick (L2) w/ Gillette Platinum Plus Brush: L’Occitane Plisson knot in a Van Chase Punchy Skull shift knob Soap: Chemical Guys wheel guard A/S: Mother’s Chrome polish But those last two smelled and felt more like SV Dolomiti and CC Frozen Vetiver. Enjoy your shave. Tom.

Maybe there was a reason for the Personna to be sent out with the Razor, it works ! I could not get on with it in other Razors. Would like to try the revised no 3 plate, but probably not worth the expense now I am getting decent results with the original.
