Nov 2017 30 Day Rule/Focus

Happy Thanksgiving! Yesterday I needed a quick shave to get ready for work. Still had a Rapira SS in the Tech, and went for a quick two passes. Got a high grade DFS, even though I wanted to be able to shave on T-day. I will post today’s shave a little later.

Just FYI, I’m feeling like the most high tech Thanksgiving turkey barbecue pit master you’ve ever met. My big green egg temperature is being controlled by a fan hooked up to a controller which controls fan speed, and is connected to my phone via WiFi. I can monitor and control it from inside. Let me know if anyone wants a chart of the bird’s temperature over time. Oh, and there’s fire and hickory involved too!

If you're going this far, then a chart of the grill temp vs internal turkey temp is a must.

For many, the blue of the baseplate matching the bowl brim would be coincidence, Clint. For you, it is more evidence of your meticulous care. Beautiful.

Fat Friday setup a day early. Terrific shave overall. I rubbed on the remaining lather at the end of the shave like a balm. Mitchell's is great soap and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. Really nice overall.
