I had not heard from Michael in quite a while so I reached out again yesterday through email. This morning I was pleasantly surprised with an email epistle of sorts. He is up and doing quite well. He said his case is now published in the journals. He is very grateful to his doctor, friends, Kimberly, and everyone who has been praying for him. He says that caving will be part of his rehab to get his muscles back.
That man doesn't give up easily! Thanks for the update and good news -- Pitralon forever - Real pens have a nib - If it doesn't tick, it's not a watch.
It’s good to hear that Mike is recovering. I pray that he’s able to get back to doing the things he enjoys and loves.
Glad to hear about this. Even though some of us have had our own challenges recently, there is always someone else who has greater challenges. I am glad he is overcoming his. Prayers.
Talked to him late last nite/early this morning, and like I mentioned before, he's doing good and trying to get used to walking with a cane, bye bye walker. He just wants to get back to like he was before and working at his job. Many cavers from around the world who he knows and others who have used his caving light have been sending lots of messages to him. To people who don't know, it's a carbide head lamp he designed and manufactures which is very popular and favored among cavers the world over. So hopefully soon, he will be back on here. Oh yeah, he tried Papa John's pizza for the first time, much better then Pizza Hut or Domino's, I agree.
