    Is that Portland Maine, or Oregon(the razor co.)?

    It's Portland, OR, Paul. Really nice folks there and super duper razors!

    Thank you, Charlie! I would certainly print a few of the photos posted on here. You guys do amazing work!

    The Maggards soap is decent enough, I would call it outstanding, but it is far from bad. The scent is nice, and I would consider others. The AS is very good in my opinion. Once again, this scent is great, but the skin feel is terrific. I would say this is close to a top tier splash for me.

    Have a great weekend as well!

    Thanks Charlie-some towns in Washington on my "move list" are down right near Oregon, at the Columbia River Gorge.

    "For sheer shaving luxury look no further than the Kent gentlemen's shaving range. Using pure natural silver tipped badger shaving brush with luxury shaving cream for a traditional wet shave, creates the closest shave possible, leaving skin relaxed, clean and smooth.

    "Large handmade shaving brush with white barrel, pure silver tip badger offering luxury shaving presented in a quality red gift box."

    Purdy, ain't it? Nice little case too.

    Thank you Charlie. I like taking the pictures outside. I used a Canon Rebel and edit the photos on the Mac. I am much better with the DSLR outside. I have trouble using it inside.

    Well, I see why it's called Black Friday -- it was a black day for my budget. I can definitely join NB'18 now, because I have bought everything and the kitchen sink since falling off the NB'17 wagon. And most of the recent spate of purchases was thanks to hucksters on this thread pointing out all the bargains:

    Coffee scented balm from Soapy Bathman (Cup of Joe), then the matching shaving and shower soaps to go with it, and then an Italian Almond balm to go with my Italian frankensoap just because it was there;

    Jeeves of Hudson Street splashes to match my two soaps, and then the new Cherry Blossom soap and splash because they were also on sale at Canadianbladeco;

    A Kent BK12 brush!!! Because Men Essentials had too good a deal on it to pass up;

    And finally, several Martin de Candre soaps because I was, like, you know, desperately short of shaving soap.

    Jason @jtspartan and Clint @clint64 did particularly stellar work at pointing out sales that were too good to pass up, but several others did excellent Enabling regarding Kent brushes. I figure it will be close to the end of 2018 before my shaving budget recovers. Oh yeah, I started traditional wetshaving partly to save money on the high cost of carts. :p :angry017::angry032: :happy102::happy097:

    Quite a bit cheaper still at menessentials. Don't know when Black Friday ends for them, though. With first time discount, I can get the BK 8 for about $120 Can with free shipping.

    There is plenty of room on the NB '18 train with me, John...

    My only Jwest razor today, a Parker 510. Quick shave, and a good one. I got this razor thrown in with another one, and enjoy it just as the one I meant to purchase.

    My budget has been so blown for so long. I have almost reached a saturation point on shaving stuff. I have only listed La Toja and Speick shave sticks and Fine Fresh Vetiver as possible gifts for my birthday and Christmas. However I will not be joining NB 2018. If I do that I will buy everything in sight.
