Those of you that have used B&M, how does Stirling compare? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
I find Stirling’s lather to be slightly less dense and rich, but more slick. The scents are less complex than B&M, but are excellent. Both, in my opinion, are outstanding soaps.
I pretty much agree with Randy’s assessment. I find the performance of the two to be very similar. And while the B&M scents are often described as more complex, I don’t necessarily think of that as better. I find their scents can be somewhat polarizing, and a crap shoot as to whether or not I would want a full tub. I always enjoy trying a new B&M scent, but think Stirling is a much better buy.
I don't think I've ever seen any slicker soaps than Stirling. The lather is rich and dense enough for me.
I agree with your agreement of @PickledNorthern's agreement of your assessment. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Thanks for the replies. There is no comparison when looking at $$$/oz. I don't think I've missed a whole lot, yet. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
Some of B&M scents are an “acquired taste” too. My first shave with Lavanille, I wasn’t excited about it very much. After using it a number of times it’s my favorite scent in the entire den.
Me too bro! Check this out..... SOTD: Going to a wedding today, so for #NeglectedNovember, I broke out @stirlingsoap Executive Man full set! The scent on this is funominal! My @wolf.whiskers brush whipped up a mean lather and the Fatboy on 9 mowed down the growth with no issues at all. Needed to go down to 5 for the final pass. What a great shave! That's the one I may choose from Doc Ezlovan(and Mandy). It's been ages since I've had Shulton, and Stoylin's appears to be a clone of that.
That comment may have clinched the championship of my "Goalie-Mask Avatar" contest that I'm proud to announce. The other contendors are @mrchick , and @Norseman. I'm looking for a fourth to make this a Final 4.
