    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick E2 injector
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Lather: Soap Commander Influence
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Black Tea aftershave
    WTG, touch up

The E2 swiped away almost three days of growth with ease and efficiency. One operator error under my nose resulting in a weeper but otherwise a clean shave. Nice and easy. Have a good evening!

Only those who like the Streamline will understand how satisfying it is to get a good Shave with it. The Finish today is as good as many of my recent AC/SE Shaves. I think a few ER/Gem Shaves are scheduled.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Pharaoh's Dreamsicle Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #18 silvertip badger brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher with an Original Gem Cutlery SE and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pharaoh's Dreamsicle AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This was my 1st shave with this passaround soap and I can't say enough about it! My lather was right there with my favorites (B&M, Haslinger, L&L), which surprised me for a first use. This soap is unscented and you control the type and strength of scent with an oil that you add to the lather.

I went back to an Injector for this shave. I haven't use an Injector in so long I forgot how much I enjoy Injectors. It was an Injector razor that introduced me to single edge razors. After a two pass shave I was BBS.

My son and I went out to do some shopping on Friday. We stopped by a local antique shop where I found an Ever Ready Stropping Machine. I had been looking for something to strop a modern CS blade. From what I have been able to find in the Waits Book it looks like it came from a set sold in the '30s.

The last time I used this blade it was starting to pull and was on it's last shave. After stopping the snot out of it, it is once again providing a good shave. Two pass shave left me with DFS.

    ER 1912 [ Bathroom Set ] & Gem S/S [ 2 ]
These later British 1912s [ from 1951 on] seem a lot less harsh than some of the early ones. I think that perhaps they were
designed to take a modern blade.Handled very lightly provides a very smooth and comfortable Shave, with an excellent all round finish. I shall be trying a Peerless set next as it is from the same era, so hopefully will provide a great Shave.

The first shave with a new PAL Razor I got in a PIF over at TOST was quite smooth. I did three passes and was left with a Good Shave. I was hoping for a little more but it looks like I may have to work on the angle just a little. Or it may just have been the blade. Yes that's it. It was the blade. We, or at least I, will blame it on the blade. I will try again tomorrow.
