I don’t know much about straights, but it sure does look purdy! Love the brush too.

Brush: El Druida Red Heart Chakte Kok/African Blackwood 2 Band
    Soap: Nuavia Blu

Went a little crazy with the water tonight and didn't get the best of shaves. Bound to happen once in awhile.

Well, with that brush, scuttle and even the ceramic soap dish, at least you can console yourself that you failed with style!

Good point John. I did fail in style. :happy102:

Not that I need a lot of encouragement, but every shop I go to seems to have either little sample cups or spoons. They are more than willing to serve some up to guy who looks like he could eat a half gallon or two.

Great picture, Adam! That is one of the straights I would still like to acquire. Your example looks great.

I am also realizing I should have been staying out of cream shops for a while, too. Some of us are slow learners.

Sorry to rain on anyone’s parade, but everything we make is packaged. No shops; no little spoons. No Neal and his magnetic charm to push it. Just the package. Still, ITS ICE CREAM!

Fantastic set up, Clint. I hope you feel better soon, my friend.

Nice set up today, Jim. Safe travels!

Beautiful, Mark! I'll eventually pull the trigger on Krampert's Frostbite aftershave. Your brush is a looker!

    Love the C.O. Bigelow, Perry!

I always enjoy seeing your PRC Straight Razor, Brian. I'm gonna have to dig mine out and give it another go! It tugged quite a lot the last time I used it. I think I rolled the edge when I tried to strop it.

Jason, congrats on catching the baby! I'm not familiar with Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender. Can you describe the scent? I hope you get to the bottom of your irritation problem.

John, tomorrow's shave will be better! We all have a a not-so-good shave every now and then.

Congrats on kidnapping another baby, John!

Colorado has a different kind of medicine than Kentucky. :)

Nice set up and photo, Andrew. I haven't tried Astra SS blades, but I'm lovin' the GSB blades. And I'm probably one of the few guys that hasn't tried a 34C. I hope all is well.

Oh dear. Looks like you're gonna finish November with a bang, Neal! Tourniquets will be on standby.

    Sweet set up, Adam!

Cool set up, Doug! I love the photos you take in the snow. Hopefully tomorrow's shave will be better!

    Wildman! :happy088:
