I think it was Billy Fergie that was the first I heard say, that an injecto-matic and a chick blade was a marriage made in Heaven!

I used the Chicks and the Personnas....seems to me the chicks really did bond with the I-M...BUT.....the I-M is such a Joy! I' thinking...Any injector blade should work great, with a little familiarity....

Try a Schick Proline Type B, better than the Chick IMHO.

I don't have any Prolines but do have some Chicks. I may have to try that.

I used my recently acquired Gillette injector this morning with a vintage Gillette twin injector blade.

This razor looks and feels like the Gillette trac II that I used all those years back. The blades did not feel as smooth as I expected, but the results were superb! I got close to a BBS and not even a nick. It was a very pleasant shave. I suspect that this would be a mild razor with a single blade, but I won’t know till I’m finished with the twin injector blades.

This is a very maneuverable razor and it’s a shame that Gillette wasn’t making these earlier. They could have given Schick a run for their money.

Do any of you guys have one? I’m curious about your impressions of it.

Much to my dismay yesterdays shave seems to be operator error more than equipment failure. Todays shave was a closer/better shave than the day before. To be honest I was watching my angle of attack this morning more so than yesterday. I was told be others to try either a Proline or a Chick in it and I should get better results. As all I have is the Ted Pella and Chick blades I will use a Chick in it next week.

A three pass shave left me with a pretty good shave, not the best, but good enough for work.

I use the Personna injector blades in my injectomatic and end up with great results. The chicks also work well in that razor. The angle seems to be a bit different on the PAL compared to the Schick, so a few more shaves might straighten that out for you.

Took my Gem Micromatic with a stainless blade for a face shave. I'm really liking it compares to a DE razor.

That's how it all starts. You get a good shave from a CPMM then you get yourself a 1914 or a OCMM. Then before you know it you are trolling eBay for 1900 Lather Catcher. They say Straights is the Dark Side but nobody ever talks about SE's. The Dark Side my have cookies but SE's have the BBS shaves.

So far have a 1912 and a Bullet Tip. I fear I will be doing exactly like you described. Lol

    Well...

You really do need to round out your den with the OCMM and the Ever Ready 1914. You might never go back to DEs.

Bad part is I'm still testing out DE's people generously sent me. I'm finding barely any DE blades standing up against the Gems.

Well you can do what I did with my DEs, I give them away at work to get others into wet shaving.
