The Glacials of this year and last have in my honest opinion, surpassed the mighty Cryogen in terms of menthol freeze. There are some guys who might not agree, but this is what I notice. Don't get me wrong - the Cryogen is a POWERFULLY-mentholated soap which at first even I was a bit nervous to use, but Rod made changes in the Glacial formulas which keep less of the menthol from evaporating. This really surprised me.
I'm not getting all dolled-up or anything but I'll be using my Sharp Dressed Man which smells so elegant!
I already have my choice for tomorrow - it'll be Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo. I'm in love with that SDM scent! (as well as that bone-chilling menthol!)
Used a folding shavette for the 1st time last night, and needed a calming soap: Bergamot Lavender was exactly what the Dr ordered . Had a great shave! My lather did dry up a bit in places, but easy enough to add a bit of water Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk

Welcome to The Den! My thought on short run or seasonal is that you might as well just buy it if it sounds appealing. By the time you get the feedback you wanted, it’s sold out, and you’re waiting until next year to see if it’s coming back. At $6 for a puck it’s a cheap experiment.
Great shave this morning with Piacenza. Love this scent! I got this set on a BST site and therefore the splash lacks the menthol that I would normally add. I really missed it this morning. Guess that means I like the menthol chill in my splashes!
Sharp Dressed Man disappointed me, at least the first go-round. It came as part of my first sample set, last summer I think. Maybe I was hoping too hard that I'd love it, given that Redford and Eastwood have used it. I found it to be OK, but last behind Sandpiper Gentleman, and Xecutive Man. But it was nice to have, to experiment with. All in all, maybe I'll give it another go sometime.
