  [*]Result: Wonderful smooth BBS shave today. No blood. Using soap today a I face lathered as usual. The Silvertip brush did a good job of making the lather but I did have to add soap for each pass. Seems the brush is much denser than my C&E BBB and thus harder to get the soap down into the brush for more lather. The Polsilver is still going strong on shave 9 and will do shave 10 with it tomorrow.

This soap doesn't lather well, but it still has great skincare, and a very pleasant scent, and even a slight cooling sensation. Definitely a soap I want again.

Awful experience today. Got 2 nicks due to being careless & the knot fell out of my brush. This was the first time trying C.O.Bigelow and I find that I don't care for the menthol feeling. Tomorrow will be better I hope

Well, a very close, but just not the perfect shave.....sigh. Last few days have been a switch for me, subbing razors for the heck of it. Once again, I find these Aristocrats are just a little too aggressive for me. I'm used to shaving with my fatboy on #3, which suits my face perfectly. These beautiful gold things though..........seems like a solid 5.

As I said, the shave is VERY close, with no irritation, in part due to my technique. But I can feel the blade as it goes over my face, and it's not what I prefer. Still, it was a nice change of pace. Ended up BBS, and my itch was scratched as well.

I'll keep an eye out for the blade holder for ya. Damn, now I gotta move the 66 up on my list now. How's it shave?

Yesterday evening I shaved off my goatee. The last time I had a bare chin was about 6 years ago! I had a bit of irritation, but not really bad at all.
