Thank you, Clint. It also works very well and is comfortable in the hand. A win-win, it appears.

** Going to use as many products as I feel like in any order I feel like. Just going to enjoy the holidays and have good shaves with some nice photos. I also looks forward to seeing great setups and pictures in this thread this month.

Razor: Timeless Smooth Cap w/ Barber Pole 85mm
    Blade: Feather Platinum Coated (2)
Brush: Elite Razor Tres Amigos Desert Ironwood Beehive w/Envy White
    Soap: Gillette Menthol Cream
    A/S: Fine Platinum
    Bowl: Timeless

Excellent 3 pass shave tonight with a mild touch up for a BBS. This brush is amazing, the Timeless razor and handle make shaving a pleasure.

My Chrome Toggle, like his friend D1 pictured earlier today, are not for sale/trade at any price I had those preserved for my boy. They are the last 2 Toggles RazorPlate did before he quit doing them.

The Chrome was the first and only one Chris plated. It was also the first CAP had dis-assembled, documenting the feat in a video.

I do, however, have what I believe to be an NOS D1 Toggle with shipper. I'd entertain trades for it. Any of you are welcome to shoot me a PM. I'd really like to have a Weber, Tradere, Merkur Vision, etc. Something somewhat rare. I'd consider a Wolfman but not so sure it's worth what the market seems to demand.

Mine are all 0.95. I don't have the Bronze. I didn't care for the blade gap.

PS. I also have a 7 piece OC ATT set I would be willing to part with in trade. My apologies for turning this into a trade thread.... @wristwatchb started it.

It’s pretty much always Charlie’s fault. If not, it’s a safe bet Neal did it.

Saturday evening December 2 - Shave Cream Challenge #C

Delta Echo Ink black Gillette Black Beauty on 4 / Topaz Platinum ( 2 )
30DC LE Maple Cashmere synthetic brush
    Vlasta cream C
Alum and Soapy Bathman Cup of Joe balm

The razor, brush and horn lathering bowl all performed to my usual high expectations for them and looked great while doing it. Each is a small luxury in its own fashion.

That left the cream, as I reported in the Challenge thread:

Sample C today. Just enough for my spoonful and no more, so only one shave possible.

No scent to speak of other than a vaguely soapy scent in the tub. Lathered up easily and persisted through the shave with no problems. Noticed residual slickness on my face when rinsing between passes but seemed a bit less than with A or B. Postshave feel was drying - enough so I didn't bother waiting before applying a postshave balm.

So far, I would say A to C are all good workaday shave creams. Any will give you a good shave. I would rank either A or B first depending on how you feel about lemon scents, with C a close third. I don’t know that I would rush out to add any of them to my den now, however.

Tonight marked my first use of the Soapy Bathman products, which arrived yesterday. The balms are non-alcoholic rubs that are whitish and about the same consistency as Nivea Sensitive Balm. I think the Nivea is a bit more liquid, which makes it slicker when spreading. The SB balm has a great skin feel, however, and also a strong scent that persists for quite awhile. Cup of Joe smelled like fresh roasted coffee. I think it's a good addition to my stable of balms and splashes.

Great write up John. I am finding I enjoy balms more now. I will add Soapy Bathman to the list. I see Sudsy Soapery has balms and splashes as well which look interesting.
