If the results of the shave really define decadence, then this was pure decadence. Two passes, just a little clean up, and I am BBS. The soap, which is just about gone, it terrific, the razor is terrific, and the results were terrific. Not much else to say.

I also found out late last night, after I had packed up my gym bag, that I had received a package on Saturday while I was out of town with my daughter. In it was a sample of Jeeves Bay Rum soap from @Drygulch. I'll be lining this one up tomorrow, and I am stoked. I have been wanting to try Jeeves for a while, so thank you Adam!

I hope everyone has a great day!

    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM stainless
    Razor: GEM G-bar
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Lather: Stirling Scots Pine Sheep
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Scots Pine aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Nice shave with the G-bar today. First time using it and the results were fantastic. Also first time using one of the mutton tallow soaps from Stirling. Incredible, luscious lather. Amazing stuff. Top notch shave all around.

The Jeeves Bay Rum is up for tomorrow's shave. Looking forward to trying it out! Have a great day everyone.

Slowed things down again this morning and had a very nice shave. I like the bit of menthol in the ASB as well. Enjoy your day.

Mark, you did a wonderful job on replacing the knot in the brush. :eatdrink047:

Great picture Jim. I think the results are the key.

Great picture Perry. It is always a pleasant surprise when a razor just flat works on the maiden voyage.

Thanks, Clint! That's quite true, especially on a Monday morning when waking up and getting going in tough.

I despise Monday mornings. At least I get to take it a little slow today since I have a dentist appointment before I go into the office.

I sympathize with you. Mondays are hard. We have a concert tonight with the choir, theater, and art kids all contributing in various ways. We're pulling all of them out of class this morning to go through the whole program. Then we're playing at an in-school basketball game this afternoon. Busy day, which I guess will help with the tired feeling. Our little boy had a series of upset stomach episodes last night and we were up late with that. Always something!
