Thank you, Perry! MWF is a terrific soap, and I am almost done with this puck. I may have to wait a bit to replace it, as I have so many soaps my wife is about to revolt.

My razor fairy selected this beautiful Gillette Toggle for today's shave. My EDC Microtech DOC photobombed the occasion wanting to show off another equally impression razor sharp edge.

I took the time to play with the JR 223 to see just how much decadent later it could produce in the natural neck-bowls on either side of the Adams Apple. I broke before the soap did and spent extra time cleaning the lather from the floor and walls.

    Today was another DRS.

    Enjoy your day men![IMG]

Day 6 with the Cooper, 3rd day with a Nacet. The good shaves just keep rolling. I enjoyed the TOBS cream, it was one of theirs that I had yet to try and have been wanting to. Rubbed on some Blue, as it seemed to be in the same scent zip code. I’ll swap out the Nacet for another blade and keep the Cooper going until mid month.
My only complaint would be this knot. After using a large Omega, I just don’t dig the lack of loft in this one. I think I’ll change it out.
    Have a great day all!

    Thank you Jim.

Thank you. I restored this brush in early 2015. I went with a 20mm knot set in a 22mm opening. I just don't use it enough since I have grown fond of bigger brushes. This morning the brush was a joy to use so I really need to get it into the rotation more often.

I'm in line for the possibility of receiving both my latest orders on the same day. Delays continue with one,(CF)waiting for the other to be "fulfilled"(Stoylin).

The Jeeves is a really good soap. Great job describing the scent.

Great photo Perry. Love the way the brush and razor match up. It looks like our bad weather if any will come in over Friday night and early Saturday. Like you said we don't have the equipment to clear the roads. Plus on a good day Atlanta Drivers are bad, with rain they are awful and with anything frozen they are just*****. :D

Great photo and lineup Jim. Love the 1914

Wow. Just wow. Lovely razor :happy096:

Great lineup Mark. Love the holiday background. :happy088:

Great B&W photo Jason. It is amazing how the loft of a knot has so much to do with the way a brush works.

December 7, 2017- Peal Harbor Remembrance Day

    Razor: Bakelite Clix Military Set
    Blade: German Wilkie (1)
    Brush: 30DC LE/Pure Badger
    Soap: Williams
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Today is the 76th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, marking the US entry into WWII. Today's shave is a minor tribute to those members of the Greatest Generation who served in that war. Today's razor is a Bakelite Clix which is part of a wartime military set. Last month, I spent some time with both a Contract Tech and a Bakelite Star as well as a pre-War Tech, but this razor hasn't been in the rotation much since I got it back in May. For purposes of discussion, we'll pretend that the blade is English and not some product of der Teppichfresser. The soap is an American tradition- Williams. Finally, this is the first run of my 30DC since resetting the pure badger knot.

The Clix and Wilkie made an excellent pair, deceptively mild but efficient. I set the knot slightly higher in the brush handle which does not seem to have affected backbone but does look a bit nicer. Finally, the Williams behaved just fine, producing a very acceptable lather. The result- a BBS or near enough and I'm ready for inspection.

Congrats on the sale Brian. Looks like your cup will prove correct with the move. The reduction in taxes will seem like a huge pay bump.
