OK a secret Santa thread has started and you don't know what to give as a gift. Or you are going to beg one of your family members for a Custom Straight Razor (my wife put her foot down on a Joe C last year). Here is where you can put what you would like as a gift. To our Jewish Members feel free to list 8 items. This can be for the secret Santa and just for fun too. Me, I want some French Shaving Soap (IK), Floris 89 (Bond, James Bond), Knize Ten and one of them newfangold Shavemac brushes. I will probably think of more stuff. Good Thing I all ready have my Red Rider BB gun.
I would like to be completely surprised. I'd rather not get anything DE. I'm learning to shave with a straight, however... brushes, creams, soaps, body soaps/washes, high end shampoop, a shave-ready straight... any and all of that stuff will be well-received. Please keep in mind that I've been a very good boy this year (fingers crossed). umm, ...add strops, hones, barbers hones, slurry stones, mail-order brides, large sacks of money and superbowl tickets.
I hate to be greedy, but.... If pressed, I'm quite keen on SE razors right now. A 1912 Gem Lathercatcher is definitely on my wishlist. Oh, and a PAL adjustable Injector (never mind, got one!)! I'm also looking for a Tabac Stick (Never mind, got one!)...I love me some shaving sticks! The more the merrier! But I'm doing pretty good on other soaps. I've never tried any of the English creams, so that might be good... **Edit** Pre de Provence or Provence Sante....These things haunt my nights... Other than that...blades. Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp Edges or Permasharps especially! Always looking for a great deal on those. And TSD After shave milk. Oh, yeah, and world peace

I observe 12 days of Christmas Seriously, I tell my friends and family to give me something of themselves: a framed photo they took, a poem they wrote, a home-made card, etc. Maybe it is because I am getting older, or maybe I just realize I have more stuff than I need.

Looks good! Helps me answer your questions about getting your wife DE shaving, too. Of the blades you have, the Crystals are definitely the ones I recommend her trying first.
Hmm. Well I guess I would prefer anything for a straight, there is a chance actually that who ever I get will be getting my DE plus other stuff, or nothing shaving related and shiny instead. I am down with any creams or frags or aftershave milks, I would actually prefer a bunch of half used stuff then a brand new tube of one thing as I am still searching around for what I like. Oh and Awamori or Irish Whiskey or Brandy or Port are acceptable too.
