Such a comfort to know I could be a topic of a TV show someday. Thanks, Bruce. :angry017:

Perry, I live in MN, and last Monday night we got our first winter storm of the year. Law enforcement statewide responded to over six hundred accidents in the 24 hours after it started. So even we “Seasoned Winter Drivers” still need time to get acclimated.

That said, you couldn’t pay me enough money to be on the road down there during a storm.

Set up your photo, and has a sword next to the bed, just in case? She’s a keeper! I would also suggest being very polite to her. SCA (society for creative anachronism) girls are a little crazy.

I would also hold off on shaving with that beast until Mayhem. There would probably be a Shavey in it for you. (If you haven’t at least skimmed though May’s 30DC thread you should.)

    Thanks, Charlie!

Thanks, Bruce! I did suggest the bumps in the bottom (even though that's not a new concept) but I took the cocked handle idea from @Douglas Carey. She made at least two for him with that type of handle.

    Thank you, Clint!

Wow, I wouldn't think that for Minnesota folks. Our school system is on a 2 hour delayed start, so I get to sleep in for an extra 2 hours! Woohoo! Forecasting winter weather events here is a total crap shoot. Even the meteorologists admit that there's little skill for that type of forecast down here. I guess we'll wait and see!

And we're moving across town sometime next year. Our lot (and others next to it) were just cleared. Next step is for the developer is to do some grading and then put the street in. I will have my own sink and a recessed cabinet in the bathroom to hold my shave gear. :)

The "South" in South Dakota is about as south as she comes from. Fortunately, she has a terrific sense of humor... besides the passion for edged weapons. :kar: ;)

Thanks, Bruce. Long story, but we didn't anticipate moving next year. Now, though, we're excited about it.
