Today’s shave was with the Jeeves Bay Rum. True Bay Rum fans may be disappointed with this scent not being bay leaf and brine forward like most traditional bay rums. Personally, not being a big fan of traditional bay rum, I actually really love the unique scent of this one. I’m also a fan of their barbershop scent as well. Jeeves is a winner! Thanks again, Adam @Drygulch.

Fantastic lineup. I have heard that the BB despite the blade gap feels as aggressive as the .95 Timeless.

I am alternating between modified Gem blades and the Feather FHS. I really don't see that I am tied to using only their blades.

For those of you with an Valet Auto Strop razors that take a propriety blade, the Feather ones the One-Blade use is the one that fits the Valet Auto Strops.

Git it, son! This should be fun following your journey. The head on the Chrome is indeed different. I believe it shares the tray of the Serial but the barrel is different. The Serial has the same Red Dot barrel and adjuster. The Chrome uses a spring ILO of a Red Dot and the barrel has a physical stop at #9 where it hits the spring.

Here is a link to the dis-assembly video CAP did on that very razor. It was the first he had taken apart. I think he comments in the video that that was the head design Gillette should have stuck with. I don't recall why.

The exploded view on Glenn Conti's http://www.gilletteadjustable.com/chrome-toggle--nickel-.html is that razor you are using, as well.

Chris Evatt at Razorplate did the plating, also his first Chrome. Feel free to critique his work as well.

    Enjoy it, friend.

Thank you Clint! I stole it! Well...not literally, but close. It came out to $1.59. It was one of two Fat Boys, a Slim, a Schick Revere, another Schick injector (I don't remember which model) and a Trac II that I picked up an an estate auction this summer. $9 + tax for all six! I walked away a happy boy. All were in great condition to boot...just a little cleanup was all they needed.

I will have to evaluate that more closely in the future but that could very well end up being the case. Stay tuned.

It took me a few second to realize why the AS label was pixelated. At first I thought it was a filter effect just on the label. :think002: Great shot Jason! I'm still not tired of seeing the Cooper!

Great write-up earlier on the OneBlade, Clint, and a very stunning photo.
I live literally 10 minutes from the foot of the Rocky Mountains, and you have more snow on the ground than we do, Jim. Your daughter looks like she is having a hoot!
    Great set up, Mark.
Again, how much gear did you 'not pack' Brian? Great stuff.
Our School District has closed schools for snow once in the 12 years that I have lived here...and people were mad when they did.
Enjoy your time with your son, Perry!
