    Pre-shave: warm water wash
Brush: Omega synthetic Hi-Brush (not pictured)
Shave Cream: Pacific Shaving Co. Caffeinated Shaving Cream
    Razor: Ming Shi setting #3.5
    Blade: Wilkinson-Sword (1)
Post-shave: Assured WH, Nivea Sensitive Skin PS Balm, Pinaud Special Reserve AS Cologne

Decided to go with a new WS blade after all. I usually change out blades after 6 or 7 days. I'm staying with the W/S brand for the month. I like them, and I can buy them locally at a reasonable price.

The Ming Shi continues to perform well and impress me. I have yet to nick, cut or slice myself with this razor. At setting #3.5 I could feel the blade today. I'm curious how #4 will feel tomorrow.

I hope everyone is having a great day and will have a great weekend. I'm cutting this post short because clearly.... I have some catching up to do. I'm curious why anyone would want to check out another man's bloomers re a recent post a little bit ago. Is the "blizzard" in the South having an unusual effect on people?

If the 30DC had to lead Santa's sleigh this year, it would have to be...

Rudolph - @NCoxSTL (leader with a big red nose)
Dasher - @Boojum1 (flamboyant and stylish shave gear)
Dancer - @Bama Samurai (rhythm...focused shaver and bass player)
    Prancer - @PickledNorthern (Prancercize)
    Vixen - @LOOT (curtsies, bloomers)
Comet - @Drygulch (comets are a mixture of ice and dust...Adam adds menthol crystals to all his aftershaves)
    Cupid - @clint64 (love...Clint never met a shave brush he didn't love)
Donner - @Douglas Carey (blitz or thunder...seems a fitting description for a Marine)
    Blitzen - @Norcalnewb (abrupt electrical discharge...electrical engineer...same thing)

Send that razor to me immediately! There might be something wrong with it. I’ve managed to draw at least a little blood with every razor I have. :D

Your bride did a great job with the setup again!!

Wonderful photo. Your bride did a wonderful job with the set up. What did you think of the shaving cream? My wife brought home a tube of the same cream for me to try.

    Thanks, Charlie!
I've still got one more week to go with this razor.... I may yet cut an artery. :p
    My bride thanks you, Steve!
    She enjoys it, thanks!

I like this shave cream. It lathers up well for me, feels good on the skin, and feels refreshing.

I've enjoyed seeing your backdrops the past few days, Dan. Very cool that your wife wants to do these for you. My wife doesn't bat an eye when a new parcel arrives, or when I browse in antique shops out of town, or even how much time I spend on TSD. What she cannot fathom for the life of her is my taking pictures of shaving gear. Especially in artistic, SOTD type ways. She has seen some of my photos and looks at me like she is trying to remember if she was sober when she said 'yes' all those years ago.
The other time I get that look is if I wear Stirling Gentlemen...that is a story for another time.

I got the looks on the SOTD photos in the beginning. Over almost 3 years of photos, she and the girls have come to help me choose which photos get posted and occasionally they will offer suggestions on settings for the photos. Now let me start talking taxes or politics and I get the 1000 yard stare. ;)
