They do share the thumb notch I like. The blade is bigger than the Dovo but it is not as hollow. I do have allot of love for the Bismarck

First time I have used a multiple blade contraption in years. I wanted to move through the TSA lines quickly without having to answer any questions so I drrug this gizmo along.
There’s no comparison to the efficiency compared with a straight, or safety razor ! I could tell furs pass as this thing left more stubble behind. The same heels true for the subsequent two passes. The temptation was there to add multiple strokes and pressure
I settled for a dfs without irritation. I can still feel stubble on my neck. I’m actually glad I had this opportunity; it just reinforces how great traditional shaving really is! So be thankful that you can enjoy you straight shave today, gentlemen:)

Hi, did you know that OSSENDORF was an independent town in northwestern COLOGNE until the 1920s...? Today it is grown into the big city of Cologne. So your HALFMANN straight razor is at least more than 90 years old...!

There has been PRINCE ALBERT tobacco in the can a long time ago... I use to fill it up with some other pipe smoking tobacco from time to time, as I don't like to carry & use the modern tobacco plastic bags ...

First go with a newly-restored monkey-tailed 'The Perfect Razor' from William DePew (late 1800s).

New black horn scales with some white/rust feathering; I matched the rust/gold acrylic wedge to the coloration in the scales. Solid brass pins, washers and inner bearing washers.
    Honed all on synthetic: Chosera 1k, Naniwa SS 3k, 5k, 8k, 10k and 12k.

Size: The Perfect Razor blade shown next to a more traditionally-sized Dubl Duck 5/8"wide blade.

This is an old joke: If Prince Albert is in the can; you should let him out..
    I know, it’s a bad joke....
