So is that Red Devil blade like the scraper blades you find at a hardware store?

Thank you, Mark! The Atomic Rocket has quickly become my favorite brush. I like the heft and size of it, and I think the handle is very comfortable.

Yes I believe so. I got them with a razor I bought from the Bay. I had never heard of them and asked about them here. Someone said try them out so I did. I was about six shaves into the blade when I was looking at the box again and saw on the side where it states that the blade will fit any standard scrapper. I did another Google search this time just searching for Red Devil verse Red Devil Shaving and low and behold they make putty knifes, scrappers and the like. As long as I can get a nice smooth shave from it I'll continue down the path.

Quite a nice feeling when you try items not used for some time, and they work well. This High Street soap [Dutch ]which I have not used for some time is very good.well it has been trading for centuries. A superb lather really aided the Push Button in providing me with a super Shave. In the past have always thought it too lightweight for me, but today the quality of the finished Shave was excellent. I actually enjoyed shaving with it more than recent Shaves with a Sabre V1.

G-Bar today with nice results except in the chin area where a couple of weepers happened. Otherwise pretty good shave. I really like the G-Bar and the weight as compared to some of the other GEM SE razors. Enjoy your day!

    Williams Wednesday

    Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Brush I 22mm Synthetic, GarnerPW
    Soap: Williams
    Razor: Ever Ready 1924 Shovelhead
    Blade: PAL (8)
Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and Stetson Aftershave
Photo: I forgot to take a photo so "No Photo Today"

I got back up on the horse today. I tried the '24 Shovelhead again but with a blade made for shaving this time. I used a PAL blade with 7 shaves on it. I must say it made the world of difference. I got just as good as shave as the day before but just so much more smooth and comfortable than with the scrapper blade. That makes the 1924 Shovelhead a keeper.

Perry, I’ve been using my G-bar all week and I agre with you. The G-bar is an excellent shaver, has a nice weight and never seems to disappoint.
