I don't know what it was like originally since the two or three bottles of Seaforth talc I have seem to have lost most of their scent. I try to detect a faint whiff but there's really nothing there. I have a couple bottles of Seaforth Heather A/S but they haven't aged well so I'm not really sure what they must have smelled like before their expiration date.
I received Stirling Ride soap and aftershave today and it smells wonderful. I look forward to trying it out in the morning. Thank you @LOOT.
1927/28 New Standard. I found it to be very aggressive more so than my Single Ring. A nice heft to it at 2.67 oz. Not the origial box. The original retail tag from Sears and Roebuck $3.98 still on the bottom of the box. No serial number on razor. Serial number placement on New Standard Razors was discontinued from October 1927 until August 1928 at which time SN# placement was resumed.
That's a beauty! I love the way my New Standard shaves, to me it was just a little more aggressive then the New
I need to try a variety of blades. I started with a Voshkod (like I use in my NEW SC) and it did not match up well. The razor felt great in my hand but I would rate (only one shave) as aggressive as my 1918 Bulldog. I have yet to tame the B-dog after 2 years.
Two additions to my den. First Jayaruh 242, an awesome brush, and to my pleasure, much larger than I thought it would be. Second an Eveready lather catcher! Xmas had come early. Herm
Are you looking to sell this? If so I've been looking for one. Please let me know. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
